2020
∆S (‘delta S’) is a series of seven paintings motivated by a fascination with entropy — in short, the tendency of systems, from molecules to universes, to evolve from highly ordered states to disordered states of equilibrium. The work is compositionally informed by studies of surfaces in transition towards ‘lessness’.
